Stationmaster's Hostel is on the shore of Loch Carron in the small and peaceful fishing fillage of Stromeferry. The house was built for the stationmaster on 1880 when Stromeferry was the main trading port for sending fish to Edinburgh and London.
This traditional stone house has been completely renovated in the past few years to a very high hostel standard with five shower rooms and six bedrooms. There are four twin/double/family rooms and two dormitory rooms with five beds in each.
There are no shops of pubs in Stromeferry so please bring your own supplies. Fish, venison and veggie pies made in the village may be arranged at time of booking.
Stromeferry is seven miles from both Plockton and Kyle of Lochalsh.
