Our newly-extended hotel, the only waterfront hotel in the village, was built in 1827 as a private house and was once supposedly a ships chandelry before becoming the local village 'inn' about a hundred years ago.
We are only the fourth owners since 1913 — all the previous owners and their families still live in the village as, of course, we do ourselves.
We offer our guests comfortable en-suite rooms with superb views, the finest home-cooked food and a warm welcome.
Our recent extension enables us to cater for small functions and weddings in our new courtyard restaurant, as well as increasing the number of our rooms.
