Accommodation

Hotels & Guesthouses

For a small village, Plockton and its surrounding area is lucky to have four excellent, family-run hotels or guesthouses, each with their own unique character, and each with high standards of accommodation, food and service, at affordable prices.

We have two guesthouses, one on the shores of Loch Alsh overlooking Skye and one on the other side of the bay, both offering outstanding hospitality.

Visit our hotels & guesthouses page for more information.

Bed and Breakfast

Bed and breakfast in Plockton ranges from simple and clean accommodation to family rooms with your own en-suite bathroom — prices range from £22.50 to £40 per person.

We provide all the information you need on B & B, a list of most of the bed and breakfasts in Plockton, and details on each. (Remember to look at the sorts and the filters.)

Self Catering

Old shore cottages, purpose-built chalets with all facilities, or traditional stone houses in the centre of the village — only some of the options if you want to be self-sufficient in Plockton.

Visit our self catering page for full details. (Please check the sorts and the filters.)

Bunkhouse & Hostels

Bunkhouses have seen a revival in the Highlands as travellers and visitors seek quality shared accommodation. The Station Bunkhouse, modern and comfortable, is no exception.

And now, in Stromeferry, the restored Stationmaster's Hostel.

Campsites & Caravans

The Plockton Camp and Caravan Site closed in 1989, and camping facilities are now limited. There is a caravan site at Reraig, nearby, with some space for small tents.
