Common Grazing & Cattle

Both sides looking now to resolve the issue
The crofters have agreed in principal to give up some of their historic grazing rights, and the Community Council have agreed, in principal, that compensation will be available and some costs met by the community.
Other issues under consideration are cattle grids, fencing, access and health implications.
Despite distance still between the two sides, it appears that a satisfactory compromise will be reached, at some point.
