20 February 2003	Rhu work put on hold
After the successful completion of the Stage 1 sewage works in Plockton (a treatment plant under Harbour Street), it was hoped that NOSWA would move as planned to Stage 2, covering the Rhu area of the village, where raw sewage is still being discharged into the loch.
However, re-organisation in the water industry has meant that the new water authority, Scottish Water, will re-assess all their plans for the area, and Rhu will not come into consideration until 2005. The CC are disappointed and are raising the issue.
