NTS is canvassing opinion among interested parties, particularly crofters and landowners, on re-opening access to the following walks in Lochalsh.
Kyle to Balmacara Scalpay Bay to Loch Scalpay Balmacara to Reraig, but not as far as Kirkton Balmacara to Achnahinich Plockton to Duncraig
Access to steadings or township crofting land itself will, of course, remain restricted.
