PSBSC has two senior instructors that provide training for both juniors and adults, up to RYA Level 3 qualification, throughout the racing season (May to September). Most training is undertaken using Toppers, however the option of a two-man dinghy for private tuition is also possible.
Encouraging more youngsters to sail is vital to ensure the ongoing popularity of sailing amongst the local community and therefore the success of the PSBSC. So for local children specifically, the Club organises two intensive week courses in conjunction with the Active Schools Summer Programme (a Highland Council initiative).
The course aims to qualify students with RYA Levels 1, 2 and 3 by the end of the week. During this year, this course will be run from 5–9 July 2010 and another from 19th–23 July.
